But my question, why do you guys make it possible to hack , they hack marduk, pvp ac , bg , bow
U guys (coma) gms, have to stop this, UK server isn't very populated, and people are leaving cuz of hackers

This response pretty much reflects the whole problem.
We're expected to do the job in catching the hackers, apparently.
We as players can't prove to you that people run around hacking marduk and selling gear. But the fact that lvl 10 accs solo runs marduk in 1/100th of the time it takes me on my main, kinda makes it obvious. As well as the amount of upp items etc they bring into the game.
This has been a huge issue for half a year, if not more. And next to nothing has been done about the issue, cause this is everything thats being said. There's no SGM online making sure people don't do that kind of bullshit, theres barely any GMs online. If you look at servers like .de, the hackers get banned within a few hours. Perm banned. Unlike on our server, if someone hacks their mains gets banned as well.
On top of this, not everyone in this game has the ability to record whilst playing. Meaning its hard to get proof. And often if u don't have ur recording software open at all times, its already too late when you see someone hacking.
Maybe its too late, but its about time someone starts caring and starts banning the hackers. Cause at the moment its free-for-all for the hackers.

I would like to remind you that we are volunteers with real jobs outside of this community. But with that said what you seem to be not understanding is the fact that we need proof to continue with any sort of investigation or termination of contract. Even if we saw it happening we need to provide proof as well. We as a community must work together to deal with this issue. And believe me when I say that if you hack you will be caught.

Yes you are volunteers, but thats the thing. Why would you volunteer for something not to actually do ur job? The positions are volunteer positions on other servers as well. Yet hackers keep coming to UK because here they can hack without constantly getting banned, at least the ones who wants to make profit from it.
Im fairly sure when u sign up for a volunteer position, you know you'll have the hours to put into it and do it as best as you can. Instead of just applying cause it looks cool?
And idk about that needing proof part, i've seen it happening several times that u ban first and investigate later on.

Just to explain - when you begin as a GM, you generally have an idea of the times you need to be available, yes - however, some of us have/had been on the team a long time - I was on the team for more than 5 years - in that time, things change in life - it can be hard at times to make it online at certain times. Other teamlers, I am sure, face the same situation.
Secondly - the duties of a GM are not only to be in-game - you need to consider that tickets need to be dealt with - logs retrieved and reviewed - there can be quite a lot of investigating in some cases - during my time as an admin, there was never a case of - just ban someone - there always had to be evidence - and sometimes the evidence proved someone was innocent - so the investigative time is important!

This is why evidence is necessary - if someone hacks and gets away with it once - what are the odds they will do it again do you think? They will do it again - and if someone catches them in the act - then that goes a long way towards ensuring that player receives the appropriate punishment for breaking the rules.
The Game team is not asking you to do their jobs for them, they are just asking for assistance in bringing down hackers etc. So cooperation - not arguments, is the way to go!
